Information
Everyone needs a little extra help from time to time. Sometimes things that should be simple ever day things are more than we can handle alone. It is nice to have an outside, neutral person to listen to you and help you work things out so that you can get back to life.
I have over 20 years of experience working with people who are stuck in difficult situations. I have almost 10 years working as a counselor helping people work through life’s challenges. I believe that everyone has it within them to achieve their highest potential. Sometimes they are just lost along the way. I can be a guide to help you find your way back to where you want to be.
My counseling style is very laid back but also very direct. If you are someone who is ready to work hard and willing to try new ways of doing things, then I am the person for you. I use a variety of counseling techniques including, but not limited to, CBT, DBT, EMDR, Solution Focused, Person Centered, Experiential Therapy, and Mindfulness training, to help you become the person you want to be.
I have a great deal of experience working with trauma and abuse. I also have a lot of experience in helping individuals with depression, anxiety, personality disorders, anger issues, grief and loss. I also have experience working with addictions
I believe that everyone has the ability within their self to reach their highest potential. I believe that past experiences or negative messages we have received can cause us to lose our way. I want to help people find their way to their highest potential.
If you think we would be a good team in working on your particular struggles please call or email me for an appointment. I accept most insurances and private pay. Thank you for looking and I hope to talk to you soon.
